Alaska has been very good to my family over the past twenty-six years. My children have received an excellent education and the community has been supportive of us as our family has grown.

At this time in my life I would like to show my appreciation by serving in the state government. Alaska needs to change from a government of bickering and secret meetings to one of common purpose and openness, serving all Alaskans.

I am skilled in building unity within diversity and will seek to find ways to represent my North Pole and Fairbanks neighbors while working with other Alaskans.

I will strive toward making our state government an example of liberty and responsiveness to all, as well as a place where individuals will find opportunities to remain in Alaska.

This is an exciting time for our state. Decisions made now will likely affect many generations. By listening and working together we can make a significant impact on the future. This is our chance to make a real difference for our children and grandchildren.
