Game Prototypes:
Working Title Programming Language (Platform) Graphics Library Year
Search Turbo Pascal (Win16) BGI 1999

Search 001 Inspired by Ultima IV era games, this is a 2d RPG game I wrote in college. It comes complete with villagers to chat with, shop keepers to sell equipment, monsters to battle, towns, castles, and pirate ships!

It even includes hard coded PC speaker sound effects and music. The only thing it's missing is a plot!

Meteor Blast C++ (Win32) DirectX 7 2000

Meteor Blast For my introduction into DirectX, I wrote this aracde style game during the hiring process for a game development job.

It is a complete 2D scroller that you control with the keyboard. Blast all the meteors and proceed to the next level.

It needs some work on the playability, but functional enough for you to get the idea.

Roam Alaska C/C++ (Win32) OpenGL 2002

Roam Alaska Working with a UA instructor Joe Dart, I helped with the research and development on this terrain engine. The idea is to create a 3D world based on real GIS satellite data. For speed we implemented it using the "roam" technique for drawing the terrain.
